Chui is an unpopular spice crop in Bangladesh. This is a very popular spice in the southwestern part of Bangladesh, especially for farmers in Khulna, Bagerhat, Pirojpur, Satkhira, Jessore and Narail districts. For many years, Chui is the most popular food for Khulna and Satkhira supporters. Chives are most commonly used in meat. Many cook fish with chew. Hotels have been set up in several places including Satkhira, Patkalghata, Talai in the center of Chui Jhal.
