Sonargaon

In terms of historical importance and eye catching sights, Sonargaon is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It was the capital of Bengal in Medieval Period. It was the place where Muslim rulers and governors administrate Eastern Bengal and as a result it turned into an important administrative and a rich maritime centre.

If you want to make the best use of your weekend, you can go there and have an amazing time. Just take a look at the Sarder Bari, Goaldi Mosque,Hajiganj Fort, Sonakanda Fort and many more. You will get to see, how rich our culture is and how little we know about it.

From Gulistan you can take bus (Borak) and go to Mograpara. Then you can take rickshaw which will take you to Panam City. Also, keep that in mind, it takes 15 taka for ticket to get inside.
