Bichanakandi

Bishankandi is located in a village in Rustampur union in Goainghat upazila of Sylhet district of Bangladesh. It is a tourist paradise in Sylhet. Cold water comes from the rock area of the country’s borders and the Meghalaya hills. On the other side is the mountain greenery. The stream of clear water flowing over the small rocks created a pleasant atmosphere in the Bishankandi.

Bishankandi is perfect for traveling anytime. However, the monsoon is an ideal time to travel to Bedakandi. At this time the true beauty of the Bedakandi can be seen due to the abundant water flow around. At other times of the year, there are occasional difficulties in traveling due to the stone lifting.

From Dhaka you can go to Sylhet by bus or by train or by plane. The AC bus travels from Fakirapool, Saidabad and Mohakhali bus stations to Green Line, Shyamoli, Saudia, S Alam and Ana. AC bus scales are usually between 800 and 1200 bucks. Apart from Dhaka, Sylhet, Shyamoli, Hanif, Unique and Ana non-AC buses will be able to rent Tk 400 to 450 per person.

From Dhaka to Sylhet by train, you can choose the Suburban, Jayantika, Parbat or Kalani Express train from Kamalapur or the airport railway station as your travel companion. It will take six to seven hours to get on the train. You can choose the sky route from Dhaka to the fastest and easiest. Flights from Shahjalal International Airport leave Bangladesh, Regent Air, United Air, Novo Air and US Bangla Air to Sylhet daily. From Dhaka to Sylhet, class ticket prices are Tk. 3200 to Tk. 7200.
