National Botanical Garden
The Bangladesh National Botanical Garden and the Bangladesh National Herbarium constitute Bangladesh’s largest plant conservation center with an area of approximately 84 hectares (210 acres). It is located next to the Dhaka Zoo, at Mirpur in Dhaka. It was founded in 1961.
The garden houses about 56,000 trees, herbs, and shrubs, including major aquatic plant collection. Many tropical plants have been introduced into the garden and under local climatic conditions are systematically propagated.
It is a great place within Dhaka city for some refreshment along with friends and family.
