Jhapa Baor

A wonderful arc shaped lake is situated in Jessore, which is called Jhapa Baor. The shape is almost oval, just has a mouth at the western side. 

Three type’s boats for transportation are available there. Three boats move at three sides of the lake. Only 2 taka is the fare for crossing the lake. 

The lake is located in the Rajgonj bazaar of Jessore. Anyone can visit the lake through Monirampur Upazilla. You will have to reach Monirampur upazilla of the Jessore town. Local buses are available there. The fare is 20 taka, only 30 minutes to go to the lake. 

Motorbikes are available there. You can take bikes to reach Rajganj bazaar, each bike carry 2 person and it will take 30 taka. 20 to 25 minutes is enough to reach there. 

For staying there, you can find hotels at Khulna and Jessore. But the online booking system is not activated yet, so it’s better to move there and to search for the availability. In a single day tour, Jhapa Baor could be a very nice option for your luxury and happiness.
